Growing up on the family farm just outside of Cardston, AB, Dr. Walburger knew he wanted to work with his hands, so he started his first dental career as a denturist. The surgical aspect of replacing missing teeth with implant-supported dentures was fascinating to him, so he went back to school to become a dentist, pursuing his Bachelor of Science from Lethbridge University and then earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry.
As a Lethbridge dentist, Dr. Walburger looks at the mouth as a whole—as a reflection of your oral and overall health and with an eye to how he can address your concerns and desires. Getting to know you and your individual needs is Dr. Walburger’s priority so he can not only create the healthy smile you want but also tailor your dental experience to meet your individual needs.
Dr. Walburger and his wife and three children love living in Southern Alberta. It’s a great place to be active in a variety of indoor and outdoor pursuits. The kids enjoy playing soccer, volleyball, and football as well as playing piano and creating beautiful art. Dr. Walburger loves to tinker and always has a project on the go. Some of his hobbies include riding motorcycles and boating in the summer. In winter, he enjoys snowmobiling and playing with the kids and the family dog—a French bulldog named Gus.
Dr. Murray has been in dental practice since 1987 as a general dentist providing dental surgery and dental implants. A key priority of Dr. Murray’s is to provide care and treatment for dental emergencies. Dr. Murray is also the owner and CEO of Able Dental Group.

When not providing care at one of the clinics, Dr. Murray loves spending time on his farm, enjoying the outdoors, with many projects on the go at any given time.
A born and raised Albertan, Dr. Tolman is originally from a small town called Cardston. He swiftly headed south of the border to pursue dream of dentistry, graduating from the University of Detroit Mercy. Although he loves all aspects of dentistry, Dr. Tolman enjoys providing crowns, bridges, Invisalign treatments, and root canal therapy treatments. Perhaps the reason he loves to do root canals is because saving natural teeth has always been important to him! Dr. Tolman often says, “A natural tooth is the best tooth”. He is a proud member of the ADA&C and he enjoys learning about the latest advancements in Dental technology.
Dr. Tolman enjoys engaging with his patients, truly getting to know them so he can understand their unique needs. He loves allowing his patients to get to know him on a personal level, so it comes as no surprise that the thing he loves most about coming to work is meeting new people and interacting with his patients.
Known for having a soft spot for animals, particularly cats, Dr. Tolman enjoys giving back to organizations that help our furry friends. He is an ardent supporter of the Saving Grace Animal Society. Ever the adventurous type, Dr. Tolman lived in Ecuador for two years and is fluent in Spanish. He gets particularly excited when presented with the opportunity to converse with a patient in Spanish. Dr. Tolman LOVES making balloon animals, and never misses an opportunity to make them for his patients. He loves spending time outdoors with his wife and 4 children. One of his favourite hobbies is producing a plan to lose weight… but quickly falling off the wagon as he is an excellent cook! If it’s the weekend you will most likely find him smoking an oversized cut of Alberta beef from the local butcher. He is a jack of all trades, from excellent woodworking skills to cooking to playing one of many musical instruments!
A proud graduate of SAIT Medical Laboratory Technology, Dr. Jan earned a BSC from the University of Alberta and a DDS from the University of Alberta. Dr. Jan has cared for her patients for over 25 years with Lethbridge Dental Services South.
Dr. Jan enjoys getting to know and care for every patient through good communication and regular visits. She is incredible at encouraging her patients to develop good oral hygiene as it relates to their overall health. Her belief is that every patient should be treated with respect and guided to the best possible treatment options available for them.
When she’s off work Dr. Jan enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She can often be found walking and enjoying the coulees of Lethbridge, enjoying the natural beauty of the great outdoors. Whether it’s camping, gardening, or swimming laps at the pool, Dr. Jan loves staying active and outdoors as much as possible.
I was born and raised in Lethbridge, and I have been with Lethbridge Dental Services South for 20 years. I believe it’s very important to have a safe and comfortable place for our staff and patients to experience. We have an amazing team because we treat each other like family, and we have shared passion to always put our patients first. I enjoy spending time with my family and am a proud member of Upside down in L.A family support group for children with Down Syndrome and Inclusion Lethbridge.
I graduated as a Registered
Dental Assistant in 1989 from the NAIT Independent Study Program. Since that time,
I have enjoyed over thirty wonderful years in the Dental industry. I have held
a variety of positions in that time, from working as a Treatment Coordinator, a
Clinic Manager, a Regional Trainer, a Marketing Director, an HR Manager and now
as the Chief Operating Officer of Choice Dental Group.
I understand this industry and the value of a well-planned career path for our Team members. I am driven by a passion for our patients, our team, our community, and our practices. I’m incredibly proud of all the charitable events we have participated in over the years because I love giving back to our community.
I am a newbie to the Choice Dental Group Team. Most of my career has been spent in the field of high-level accounting and love working with the finance team at Choice. I truly enjoy learning more about the world of Dentistry every day. Aside from being an accounting geek, I love to be outside…hiking, snowshoeing, skiing or at the gym. Most of all, I love spending time with my two-year-old granddaughter, Gianna (a Choice Dental Group Patient!).
A true local through and through, I was born and raised in the Lethbridge, Alberta. I have been fortunate to raise two children in this community and guide them into adulthood. I have accrued over 20 years of experience of financial expertise and I love that I am able to bring my skills to help grow an organization that cares so deeply for the well-being of its patients. I love to spend my free time with my family and friends… but I can often be found puttering around my yard gardening. I like to stay busy, so I also serve as a Trustee on a Local School Board.
Born and raised in Lethbridge, Alberta, Kristan has been a part of the dental industry since 2010. She has managed to achieve a healthy work/life balance raising a beautiful, happy family as she advanced her career in Dentistry. Been in the company? An invaluable part of the Choice Dental Group, she is well versed the operations and financial administration of all of our clinics. When she’s not in the office, Kristan can be found camping, gardening, spending time with family and of course… appreciating all things involving The King…Elvis Presley.
I have been a proud member of the Lethbridge Community my entire life. This city combines small town values with big city possibilities and I’m so proud that my job allows me to be creative and promote local businesses. My experience is in high level sales, graphic design, content creation, customer relations, marketing solutions, social media, and technology. I’m a people person and I love to see teams grow and become successful. When I’m not working… I’m travelling, looking for the best local places to eat and taking a plethora of pictures along the way.
